I kinda feel like I tripped over the finish line.
But the story is legible, and that's what's important.

Regardless of who wins, the finale is going to be epic to the tenth degree. I am a very happy artist.

As for all of you people asking me if I'm going to finish and/or color this... No. No, I'm not. I have other projects planned for Jack and company, though. That is exciting.

What I will do, though, is share what my plans were going to be if I had moved on to the finale. It's not scripted or anything, (And it's changed dramatically since I shuffled around a few events to bring you the cliffhanger ending above, rather than the ending I originally intended...) but basically:

-Fractal is bent on using the harvester spiders to steal Ewan's soul so he can be better suited as a vessel. They attack Ewan/Jack/Kyan.
-The collision course countdown is getting lower. The trio tries making their way to the core.
-Ewan briefly considers using the book after all. Jack notices that the book is sparking and sputtering from when he had shot it earlier. He grabs the book (and tape) out of Ewan's pack and runs.
-This part was a bit fuzzy... But the end result was that Jack strapped millie's book to a mine, Ewan's soul got yanked out by harvesters, Fractal notices that Jack is setting up a bomb mid-evil-laugh, and she tries to zap him. The mine is prematurely detonated. Kyan shields Jack from the OMGWTFBBQ magical blast that follows.
-The core is destroyed, Ewan is soulless, Kyan is crispy, and Jack is surprisingly OK. The power is shut off, and the collision course countdown ends. Fractal is distraught, Father is dead.
-Jack tries to pull Kyan out of the rubble and escape with her before Fractal notices them. >_>
-Just as fractal does notice them, the power flickers back to life. Ewan has possessed the Spire, but with his memories intact. He pulls the ship out of it's collision course and proceeds to be awesome. Fractal is understandably upset.
-Jack slips out with Kyan during all this.
-Fractal teleports after them and then there is a cliffhanger for a boss fight. This is the point where I originally intended to end the round.

And that is that. It's been a wild ride, and I'm glad you guys liked following Jack's story as much as I liked writing it.
